| Description: | Join us on Monday, July 17th, at one of the finest North Shore outdoor dining experiences at Clarkson Park in Northfield, IL, as we roll up our sleeves to continue our annual corporate social responsibility initiative.
 At this fundraising dinner event, we welcome members of the Winnetka-Northfield & District 6440 Rotary clubs and friends of NEIU Foundation. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle with friends from the North Shore – while supporting good causes and giving back. Dirk Tussing & Tom Nguyen are the main organizers for this fundraising dinner. Throughout the evening, our donor guests will be exposed to a variety of Asian cuisine, cultures and a new project–The David Gotaas Rotary/NEIU Social Work Scholarship Challenge. In Fall 2016, NEIU offered a new Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) program with concentrations in 1) Social Work Practice with Vulnerable Populations (at-risk children and families) and 2) Leadership and Change (advocacy and policy).
