Date: 6/11/2014
Time: 5:30 p.m. (Central)
Duration: 3.5 hours
Host: RightStart4Kids & Winnetka-Northfield Rotary Club
Learning Area: Corporate Social Responsibility
Partnering with Northeastern Illinois University (NEIU) Foundation,
we are excited to be raising $20,000 funding to create
a NEW annual scholarship for NEIU undergraduate, minority students
majoring in Human Resources Development

Join us on Wednesday, June 11th, at one of the finest Northshore dining experiences at the Garden Rooms and beautifully landscaped Arches Garden of the Winnetka Community House , as we roll up our sleeves to continue our annual goal to donate $20,000 to NEIU Foundation-- minimum dollar amount required to endow a scholarship.

Why NEIU Foundation? Many of the local primary and secondary school teachers earn their teaching certificates and advance degrees at NEIU. They also have a great HRD Degree offered both as a B.A. & M.A. AND in 2012 Newsweek Named NEIU the Sixth Best Investment School in the U.S. NEIU is ranked the most ethnically diverse university in the Midwest, U.S. News & World Reports.

The Chicagoland Corporate Learning Leaders are welcome to join too as they give to their local community for investing in our future talent pool with an endowed scholarship at NEIU to establish the Executive Learning Exchange’s Chicagoland Learning Leaders RightStart4Kids Scholarship. An endowed scholarship is a permanent fund in which the principal remains intact and invested at all times. Scholarships are awarded from the allocated income earned on the principal investment EVERY YEAR starting in 2015. Help us continue to show amazing examples HOW Learning Beyond the Classroom can Produce COMPETITIVE Business Results! This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mingle with senior executives running learning and talent development groups from Rotary & top Chicagoland companies – while supporting a good cause.
